A Queensland girl has been accused of attempting to kill a person “identified to her”, after allegedly setting hearth to his residence.

Emergency providers had been known as to College Drive in Meadowbrook, south of Brisbane, on Saturday morning after experiences of a unit hearth.

The occupant, a 26-year-old man, suffered burns to his fingers and was handled on the scene.

A 30-year-old girl was rushed to hospital with “important burns”, in response to Queensland Police, and charged with tried homicide and arson late on Saturday.

“It is going to be alleged round 4am the girl attended a College Drive residence and threatened a person who was identified to her, earlier than intentionally setting hearth to his unit,” a Queensland Police Service spokesman mentioned.

Police say the girl resides in Marsden, about 6km west of the Meadowbrook unit.
