West Australia will swelter via an excessive heatwave with some areas tipped to achieve near 50C.
The Bureau of Meteorology issued the heatwave warning forward of the weekend, with Perth making ready for a prime of 41C on Friday and Saturday.
In the meantime, Gascoyne Junction is forecast to achieve about 46 levels on Friday and Saturday earlier than peaking at 48 levels on Tuesday.
The extreme heatwave warning is in place for Kimberley, Gascoyne, Central West, Decrease West, South West, South Coastal and Nice Southern Districts.
