US-backed Syrian fighters liberate Yazidi lady who was raped and compelled to marry extremists


BEIRUT: US-backed Kurdish fighters in Syria have liberated a Yazidi lady who had been held for a decade by the Daesh group, the place she was raped and compelled to marry extremists, the Syrian Democratic Forces mentioned Monday.

The 24-year-old lady alongside along with her son and daughter had been rescued throughout an ongoing safety operation by Kurdish fighters in Syria’s northeastern sprawling Al-Hol camp that homes tens of hundreds of individuals, principally wives and kids of Islamic State fighters in addition to supporters of the militant group, the SDF mentioned.
