Mecharashi, which also translates to Gang Lan, has now entered the early access phase following a new round of closed beta testing in select regions including Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. This phase is open for both Android and iOS users.

Mecharashi seems to bank on its impressive visuals with strategic gameplay

Developed by BlackJack Studio, Mecharashi is promoted as a futuristic, Sci-fi RPG about mechas, fought by players as tools for combat. Players participate as part of a mercenary squad known as “Cheetah Logistics” to fight against the global menace and unravel the secrets of a mysterious “Tan Girl” group.

You are the commanders, making strategic decisions during battles. Customize the mechas that are before battles; this can be from their torso, hands, legs, and weapons, which helps provide a unique blend of battlefield decision-making and strategic choices. Customized mechs provide strategic direction for battles, each battle challenging players to choose just how and when to attack.

Offering an interesting variety of tactical approaches, this plays into strategic planning. Each battle moves from lightning attacks to assaults, to calculated advances. Targeting specific parts of enemy mechas adds depth to the gameplay, altering the course of battles. I did mention last time when the game was in open beta how the graphics look impressive, and the visual trailer adds to it again.

If you want to play the title, you can head over to the Google Play Store for Android or play the Testflight for iOS, but you need to be from the select regions I mentioned. Currently, in early access, the Mecharashi global launch hasn’t been revealed yet. We might have to wait for more information on the global release, for which no details are available at present.
