Danika Mason’s ex-partner Todd Liubinskas has gone public with his new romance following the former couple’s messy split.

Mason hit the headlines in October after calling off the wedding just three weeks before the pair were due to tie the knot in NSW’s Hunter Valley.

Friends of Mason at the time described her as “beyond devastated” and “completely heartbroken”.

The messy split played out in public and it emerged later that Mason was asked to hand back the engagement ring she was given by Liubinskas.

Liubinskas has kept a low profile since the tumultuous end to the relationship, but last week went public for the first time with his new relationship.

The personal trainer on Tuesday shared a poolside photo of him and dating coach Helen Chik looking all loved-up in front of the camera.

Both Liubinskas and Chik shared the steamy photo on their Instagram stories with a caption: “Couple photo spam incoming #sorrynotsorry”.

Liubinskas was last week also seen sitting with Chik as the relationship adviser celebrated her birthday.

Chik captioned one video, which showed Liubinskas and a group of friends singing happy birthday to her: “Feels so good to be surrounded by my favourite humans.

“Couldn’t have survived this past year without you all and so excited for what’s the come.

“Thank you all for making last night so special for me. Growing old with all of you as my friends and family is all a girl could ever wish for.”

Chik is a popular lifestyle influencer and author of Sex, Swipes and Other Stories, which she released in 2022.

Liubinskas is involved in the fitness industry, working as a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach.

Mason, has also moved on from the broken relationship and has been dating Bulldogs prop Liam Knight.

Mason, 33, was seen “cuddling up” to Knight, 29, on a date at The Butler restaurant in Sydney’s Potts Point in early February.

Mason and Liubinskas had been in a relationship for more than three years. He proposed in July, 2021.

Mason has built a successful career at Channel 9, where she started as an intern in the newsroom in 2012 and rose to eventually host The Sunday Footy Show.

She also serves as a sideline reporter for NRL matches, and is part of the network’s Australian Open tennis coverage.

The talented TV host was in February involved in a bizarre stunt where she walked down the aisle during a cheeky segment filmed by Channel 9 ahead of the NRL season-opening event in Las Vegas.

Despite the awkward nature of it all, Mason handled the moment like a professional, even as she was serenaded by an Elvis impersonator.

“Las Vegas is one of the most iconic wedding destinations in the world,” Mason said as she walked down the aisle.

“Many have walked this aisle over a number of years to be married by none other than Elvis, and the Manly players have a competition going to see who will be next.”
